Taronga Zoo ...

Went to the zoo today. To make friends with the gorillas, giraffes, koalas, kangaroos,wallabies, wombats,red pandas,seals,penguins and many more. I have never known gorillas' characteristics are like lions. They don't like to SHARE. Share is not in their dictionary. Which i somehow can relate to myself *lol*. I hate sharing my clothings or handbags with my sis because most of the time she steals it from me in the end or she will damage it. lol.

So,the first stop i went was to the giraffe talk show which explains all about giraffes which i never noticed when i was in school. As i was one of those who tell the teacher that my guardian doesnt agree for me to go to the school lol...(read: i don't care and not interested ) which in fact i do love the zoo. I love animals, but sometimes going with the person u enjoy going is so much better than going with someone who u dont know or doesnt click well.

I woke up at 7am this morning to hop on the treadmill and did 40 mins powerwalk, and came up to take a bath. Blow dried my hair, got ready. Went down at 8.35am to the doctor to book an appointment at 9.10am just before going to the zoo. Came back up to watch some tv and have cereal for breakkie. Then went to the doctor to have flu shot (which i dont see the need, but i see how people take the vac so i am kiasu and followed). I still dont know why i took the flu shot, as it doesnt cover u from swine flu. It sometimes have reaction to u for the next 24hrs - 7days. You might be down witha fever - as the flu shot which they gave u are dead dirty bacteries. Which made u body 'knows' that they exist and tried to fight with them ,so the next 12 months or so you wouldn't get any flu. As your body somehow 'recognize' that virus and 'zap' kills them.

When the doctor and baby explained to me. I was like a primary 6 kid who is so interested. I love science, i love animal, and i love factual information. I am one of those who likes to watch movie which is based on true story, or even Animal planet, and some geographical chanel just to know a little bit more of the mother earth. Which i find all of these are cool. =)

Anyway, the seals are so smart. I am really amazed by all these animals. I kept telling baby that the animals must be bored cus they have got nothing to do, except sleep, eat and pose for people to take pictures. He said, "so, dont u think ure lucky enuff to be a human?" I nodded and said, "I must have been a very good person in my previous life that i deserved to be a human now." He turned to me and said, "You might be an obedient and forgiving monkey/gorilla in ur previous life before it evoluted to become human".

HMMMMPF...... fine. Whatever. As long as i am human now, dont really care what i was in my past life!

Anyway, went to have kingsford chinese for dinner with baby just now. Now 9.50pm, i am off to the gym to do some powerwalk - prolly 40 mins.

A Lazy Weekend

Monday comes too quickly. I enjoyed my weekend every single bit. Altho, i have become someone who doesn't socialize anymore. I don't know why, but i started to dislike socializing. I build a wall around me & have less confidence in myself. Even with my housemate, we could be great friends. But when its time she interfere with my life, like what did i do, where did i go, what did i buy, and started ransacking my room - that's it. 2 days of silence. lol...

Anyway, i tried on my dresses and gown on saturday with my heels. The boy said, "Why are all ur dresses / gowns are navy blue in colour?" i turned and said, "Because at the moment, i am in love with blue". He said if i go to parties, people will assume that i didn't get changed from the dresses. sigh.

Anyway, i miss singapore's food. Trying to convince the boy to stay over in sg for 2 days instead of 1 day. Hehehehe .. i need some shopping therapy & self indulgence in food. =)

Sushi Choo All you can eat Sushi

Things been pretty messed up at the moment with my personal life. Don't know where to start. I hate the feeling of ignorance. I hate the term of 'Sympathy Love". I wonders how people can tolerate and have a bond in sisterhood. Life's been great. Work's been great. the bf has been great. friends' great. Except for the sis-dept.


I am confused..i'm stucked between a lover and a sister. Both have different opinions and see things differently, both of them are like horizontal parallel line, while i am a vertical line which can cut through any of them. If we were a magnet, both of them would be North, while i am South. That's how stubborn they are. I am the 'connector' and i hate the feeling of hating anyone.


Anyway, Had Sushi Choo All you can eat Sushi dinner last night. The salmon wasn't fresh, but i love their dumplings. I had too much of them which made the bf stared at me with his 'pls-stop-taking-the-dumplings-from-the-conveyor-belt-as-the-single-man-sitting-opposite-me-always-end-up-not-getting-them' look.



Doesn't help when i am sitting on a high chair at the right end of the conveyor belt where they put the sushi. So, practically, i am the first one to decide what i want... and the single man who was sitting right opposite of me is the last person to choose. Which in fact, he doesn't get most of the juicy stuffs but the left overs!!! =P i even took picture of him! But its on the bf's iphone. Will make him upload it and i'll post it.



After dinner, we had a walk to the Apple store in the city to get the new iphone 3Gs. The Q was soooo bloody long. I was sleepy(from eating too much carbs at the sushi! haha!), grumpy, thirsty(drank 600ml of water straight after that), and pretty much pissed off. The Q doesn't move at all! Those 4 china people 8 person in front of me bought 2 iphones each which in total of 8!



So, i told the bf that i am going to wait for him at the stairs near the Q. I'm gonna read my book, while he Queues. Can u believe he actually Q-ed for 1 hour before getting the iphone? And i read 2 chapters of my novel. Thats how LONG it is. We walked home. Took us an hour to walk home (to burn those Sushissss)!


I was pretty much exhausted, so took a bath and quickly jumped on my couch to watch the recorded Masterchef. I cant believe Justine had gone home!!!! I love her so much..she is so lovely n gorgeous. Masterchef is a new cooking TV show. This is only the first year and they have hard new challenges everyday! i am very impressed! Okay, anyway if you are not sure what i m babbling about just check out their website .

Vintage day

Todayyyy, 15th July 2009, marks the 1st day i am without my blackberry! Because of my carelessness - left it on my bed!! and left my watch on the kitchen counter! So, i am living life a little vintage here - no phone n no watch! I have to meet my bf for sushi dinner in the city tonight at about 6pm. I hope i got there just in time!

Life is a wonder!

I feel like ....



Life is a joke. It is a roller coaster ride that you never expects what to happen next. It may be glorious a minute, and be a complete disaster the next. The people you meet everyday through the journey of life are blessings. They are angels sent from God to watch over you, cheer you on, listen to you whine, be there for you whenever you needed someone. I thank God for every single one of my friends who had made prints in my 23 years of life. I couldn't ask for more.



God is amazing. I drove down cleveland St this morning just to see a bright beautiful rainbow right on the left side of my car. It was the biggest and most beautiful rainbow i have seen in my entire life. I kept telling myself how God had keep his promises and how i should keep my faith in Him every single day. I tend to forget (sorry God) saying my prayers everyday, especially after a long day from work.
