Anzac Day

Woo-Hooo long weekend! 25th of April marked Anzac Day, and this year it falls on a friday. Which means Australia is having a long weekend off from Friday - Sunday. Well, its only an extra day off, but thats how its know "long weekend".

Didn't do anything much yesterday (25th) except went to Bondi to drop by at Bettina Liano. They are having sale. Denims are going as low as $180. I went there to get an exchange of sizes which i got for a friend overseas. But my efforts were in vain, they hasnt got the sz which i wanted.

Then, went to D'Crepes to look for pepi (he's working there), but he wasnt there! So i asked the girl who was working and she said, pepi had left at 1pm to accompany his nan. *Hurhurhur*

Shops were going to close; left Westfield & drove home with bb.

Reached home at around 5:30pm & got ready for dinner @ Ayam Goreng Jakarta; right opposite of Fajar Indonesian Restaurant.

the Menu

I ordered Bubur Ayam Jakarta, bb ordered a soup & Ayam Goreng, Sis order Ayam Bakar & etc. We started yakking, while our tummy are crying for help; they were grumbling n 'vibrating' (as we havent eaten almost the whole day). We waited for a good 45minutes trying to be patient!

On the same time, people who came in later than us had gotten their orders! fired up!! Sis went up to the Tante (auntie) and asked if our orders are coming, and she said yes its on the way.

bb bored

10 minutes later, Ayam Goreng & Ayam Bakar are ready. So sis started eating & bb waited for my porridge. 15 minutes later,my porridge turned up & tante saidd, "Sorry, we haven't got the soup which you ordered."

BB was pissed off,in the end he ate his Ayam goreng with steamed rice and kept drinking water HAHAHAHA..because he said, without the soup its too DRY. lol

Seriously, Ayam Goreng jakarta; They need to hire more people.
more people to cook,
more people to serve,
more people to clean up.

I hate the Ayam Goreng (fried chicken) there, because sometimes its not 100% cooked, sometimes it still has the 'blood'. I'd 100% prefers Ayam Goreng 99. They had the best Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken) and the next one would be Shalom (another Indonesian Rest) who has the spiciest chilli!!

Anyway, My bubur ayam (chicken porridge) was okay - not too bad....though i was still hungry after finishing a big bowl of porridge. Maybe due to the hundreds of minutes i had to wait before my food turned up.
