....nostalgia....

5 years ago @ St Theresa's Convent, Singapore

Amazing how time flies & how things had changed for the past 5 years. In this 5 years, i had obtained an O levels, Diploma of Communication, Bachelor of International Communication and now.... i am working.

I do miss going to school/uni seriously. During school days, i miss the morning assemblies especially the times when i have to tighten my 'belt' just to make it look tight so Mr Sng & other discipline Mister/Mistress wouldnt come up to me and confiscate my belt. Also the times when i quickly go to the bathroom to spray black hair spray on my brown dyed hair whenever announcements are made regarding the checking of hair colours.

I missed skipping PE Lessons with Connie. We would say cramp, injured leg, getting doctor's MC, etc just to stay out of the field hahaha.... Funny & Memorable times!!

I miss uni; the waking up of early mornings and walked to QVB to catch bus 282/290/288. Or even waking up late and drive to school, which of course ended up late still!!!

I miss burning mid-night oil till midnights doing assignments n skipping classes.

I thought school & Uni is the best phase of my life; as i feel that I have the 'right' to come or not when i dont feel like coming. But working - I HAVE TO COME!! Sick leaves are limited.

How could someone hate turning up to classes miss going to school/uni?

How could someone who couldnt wait to graduate wants to continue doing masters or other degrees?

How could someone wants to do so many things but have so little time?

......

I used to hate attending school / going to lectures. But now - seems like i miss attending them!!

Connie had been my bestfriend since i was sec 3 - thats long time ago (i know) and no doubt she knows how lazy am i to attend classes!! haha i still remember how she texted me and said COME TO CLASS early in the morning, while me & fenny were deciding if we should come or not.

Anyway.....5 years later, i missed those times, and it made me wanna continue my studies. Be it Masters, be it another degree, be it cookery, be it baking, be it hairdressing. I JUST WANT TO GO BACK TO ATTENDING CLASSES!!
