Yes, its that time of the year again. Its the End of Financial Year Sale. I have been doing a great job of staying at home for the long weekend, except to Ikea, if you count that as Shopping.

No, i wouldnt agree to you if u say thats classified as shopping. Merely, me n bb just bought rugs/carpets, plant pots,candles, plant spray, shoe rack.

Its tempting for me to drive down to Broadway Shopping Centre today, while waiting for bb to come back home. I received a VIP invitation for Loccitane, Country Road, Rodeo Show, etc for end of year sale. See? how tempting it is!

In between my fickle-mindedness, i am still deciding if i should.


When i look at someone who doesnt shop. I am amazed. Amazed at how they are strong-willed. Its fairly hard for someone not to spend money on anything.. especially when you live in a world of advertisements. How many thousands of brands do you come across in one day? Not forgetting, stealing a glance at the new arrivals in a magazine, or looking at the new bag ur boss is bringing with her.Do you noticed how many thousands of advertisements we come across each day? Not just counting the ones on the streets, the flags on the drive ways, or the path you take home. But just noticing at what who is sitting right next to you is wearing. What brand is she/he wearing?


In 1 person, she maybe could be wearing a Gucci dress (high-end fashion), Christian Louboutin Heels ( High end Fashion), and carrying a Hermes Birkin Bag (hign end fashion). On the other hand, someone next to you might be wearing a Nike Track shoes, Quicksilver Jeans, Roxy T-shirt. The differences in sense of fashion, still leads to one word : BRAND ADVERTISING.

And...it makes people like me, addicted to shopping. Its the caffeine to my everyday.
